Well, for the people who aren’t convinced with famous author’s quotes, this is biblical.

It makes Stelena 10% better than it already is in english. Why? Well you know how when the translation is shorter and they have to change or add words to make it fit, they just squeeze in a pet name. For example.

In 1x16, Stefan asks Elena if he can take her home. In the spanish dub, Stefan says “Te llevo a casa amor?” which translated back to english would be “Can I take you home, love?” See? It’s awesome. We’ve never heard Stefan call Elena “love” before.

In 1x18, Stefan says “Please dance with your alcoholic vampire boyfriend” In the spanish dub he says “”Quieres bailar conmigo lindura?” Which translated back to english would be “Would you like to dance with me, beautiful?” In spanish Stelena is even sweeter, if that’s possible.
